Alon is an IDE designed to facilitate the development, testing, and deployment of decentralized apps and assets on Solana directly from a web browser. By leveraging a thin compiler and linker frontend on top of a WebAssembly port of Solana’s compiler suite, Alon significantly reduces the time required for compiling, running, and testing Solana programs to mere milliseconds. With integrated Treesitter in its code editor, Alon can quickly build and update the syntax tree of Solana programs, enabling the development of static analysis tools to simplify and expedite the creation of reliable Solana applications.

Installation

  1. Start a development server on port 3000: npm start
  2. Build a release version of Alon: npm run build
